Meet kaylie

Kaylie is a California board certified acupuncturist and herbalist. She received her master's degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Emperor's College in Santa Monica, California. She practices out of the beautiful Highland Holistic in the heart of Highland Park. Using the diagnostic model of Traditional East Asian medicine, Kaylie uses the whole picture of the body, both past and present, to formulate a treatment plan catered specifically to you. She specializes in women's health, including fertility support, cycle regulation, PMS, and hormonal imbalance. Her other clinical interests include digestive disorders, emotional imbalances such as anxiety and depression, musculoskeletal pain, and autoimmune conditions. When she's not slinging herbs and acupuncture, you can find Kaylie hiking around Los Angeles, working on some sort of DIY project, or hanging with her cat baby Ollie.

Acupuncture Initial Consultation + Treatment

We'll go over a detailed health history as well as discuss symptoms and concerns you're currently presenting. Using a holistic diagnostic system, we'll develop a customized treatment plan just for you. This will include acupuncture and if appropriate may include other modalities such as moxibustion, cupping, herbal medicine, and/ or supplements.

Acupuncture Follow-up

This session will work off of the last. The goal with Traditional East Asian medicine is that with each treatment your condition will change and evolve. Our treatment strategies will change as you do.

Herbal Consultation

These sessions can be done in person or via phone or Skype. We'll discuss a bit about your health history and we'll go over your current concerns. From there I'll come up with a specific diagnosis for you and will either create a custom formula or use one that I have on hand, whichever is most appropriate for you in the moment. Each herbal formula will last about 2 weeks and once finished we will check in, track your progress, and make changes if appropriate.
