Sarah Nikolovska has been an active member of the health and fitness industry for nearly 20 years. She then expanded on that concept in 2018 by creating The [RE]Centered Movement, a professional collective whose members seek to integrate the concept of health into every aspect of daily life; the body, mind, our relationships and even the spaces we inhabit.
Sarah’s vision incorporates movement, healthy eating, emotional healing and clean, responsible living. While her background is in biomedical science, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Cornell University and a master’s degree in Neurorehabilitation from world renowned Guttmann Institute, Sarah's devotion to holistic wellness and healing has led her to study many complementary bodywork techniques. She holds multiple certifications including those from the NASM, ACSM, NSCA, PMA, and over 600 hours of Pilates mat and apparatus training. "Whether it is physical or emotional, my clients often come to me in pain. It is up to me to have as much knowledge and as many tools at my disposal as I can, not just so that I can offer them solutions, but so that I can actually understand what is going on inside their bodies." - SN Helping people free themselves from pain and achieve new levels of physical health and wellbeing is not only Sarah's goal, it is her passion.
" Steve Jobs said that 'Work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do.' In that respect I am truly lucky." -SN

IMM (Integrated Manual Myostimulation)
This offering is a technique that addresses the myofascial system through a combination of stretching, palpation and low-level isometric exercise. This technique uses manual stimulation to modulate neural drive into muscles whose function has been impaired by overuse or injury. The result is the restoration of proper joint mechanics, balanced muscle tone, a reduction in pain levels and an improved range of motion.
