When I need to go write something, I go to my second brain first, or when I need to make a podcast, I go to my second brain to get ideas because that's where I've been storing things that are interesting to me. I never make something just from my brain. I'm constantly in relationship to the world around me.
To make content really requires vulnerability and really asks you to be a human. That's I think when the best content gets made, the type of content that really delivers. You can make this process fun and intuitive and magical and you should.
It's none of your business to change the message or to be worried about whether people will receive the message. What is your business is to make sure that you are delivering that message with as much care as you can possibly muster.
Content creation is channeling. You're an open channel and anything that opens up your channel or flushes your channel clear is going to make it easier for you to channel through the messages that you need.
The most important piece of advice I can give you around making content is to never start from an empty page. That's why I think why some of the best work comes from channeled content because you're not starting from like a blinking cursor. You're jumping off from an idea, from a subject, from a tarot card, from something you're responding to. - Michelle Pellizzon
We can make our content so much better, juicier, and so much more fun if we just open up to the intuitive elements of it, and open up to the fact that it's pretty much just channeling, especially when you're doing it really well. And channeled content is more often than not, way better than whatever you could put out from your conscious mind. - Michelle Pellizzon

SHOW NOTES
[01:00] Our Topic for today is the Content Creation Process
[04:47] When COVID hits, there are a lot of people who get interested in making content to get paid. They make online courses, build a membership community, make only fans account, and create podcasts
[06:05] Michelle wanted to remind us that in the content creation process there must be an intuitive element of it.
[07:15] Channeled content is more often than not like way better than whatever you could put out from your conscious mind
[08:00] We teach making content intuitively in the Profitable Content Creator Lab. We launched it last year and it was such a big hit. We’re opening it again in April
[08:40] To understand how to market your course or your membership, you want to understand how to price it and make money. You want to understand the tools, systems, software, and all the things you need to make it
[13:00] The reason that we make content is to educate our users, to provide value to our users, to provide that trust factor. Free content is the what. Paid content is the how
[15:30] The most important thing in creating content is your content ecosystem. Every piece of content that you make is leading into something. We want our content to lead towards the next step that we want people to take
[17:08] What is the center of your ecosystem? Is it a product or a service? Or maybe you want to make content to convince people to be makers
[19:36] Rule number one is to understand your content ecosystem. Another is creating a calendar. You must be thoughtful and deliberate with your time and attention, and that pays off because that usually leads to better content
[21:30] Michelle’s next advice is batching content. We are so accustomed to bouncing between things like email, Instagram, Reddit, phone, TV, and other things that we forgot to give ourselves time to go deep
[22:53] We can understand things more clearly and solve problems in a more robust way if we do deep work
[25:35] Schedule your time to batch content. Give yourself at least two to four hours just to create content and not do any administrative task
[26:50] Michelle’s most important piece of advice on making content is to never start from an empty page. We need to remember that we are not in this box by ourselves or in a silo by ourselves
[27:20] Michelle also recommends creating a second brain. Where you can store information, articles, ideas, and things that you find interesting
[28:43] Michelle shares six different ideas on how to channel your content. The first recommendation is to use the Tarot Card. Use a Tarot Card to unlock your unconscious or subconscious mind and interpret it
[32:05] When we are highly sensitive or highly intuitive, we’re just able to notice more information. If we give ourselves that sacred pause then we’re opening ourselves up to seeing and hearing more
[34:34] We should use the Akashic records. Connecting to the purest frequency and source of love to get the answers to what has happened or is going to happen. You can see the outcomes based on the trajectory that you’re on and you can also change it because you have free will over your destiny
[36:36] Next option is Automatic Writings. Meditate or do a visualization of yourself connecting to the source, the top of your head, opening up and energy pouring through you. And then you put pen to paper and you just see what comes up, what happens.
[39:32] Astrology can help us understand what is going on out in the world beyond us
[41:15] Next option is Bibliomancy. Michelle comes up with content by foretelling or interpreting a randomly chosen passage from a book. Nothing is a coincidence
[44:15] Michelle’s last recommendation is Technomancy. When you open up your phone and scroll through Instagram or any website and you find a message that is for you. Almost the same as Bibliomancy but the digital version
[46:40] It’s important to show yourself in your content. Show your heart, talk about experiences, and what’s interesting because those stories are the things that ground us from our humanity but also help us know you, like you, and trust you
[51:10] In making content, it’s our job to deliver it with clarity, truth, honesty in every way
[52:40] Our akashic records show us the most likely outcome based on the trajectory that we’re on, but we choose the trajectory we get to change if we like. You get to choose if you want to deliver that message with full integrity or not, and you can always change your mind
