Our New Community Membership: Introducing The North Node
Every week, for the last 2.5 years, I’ve posted a new story on this site and sent out an accompanying 5,000-word email newsletter.
It’s still one of my favorite ways to spend my time. Sometimes the newsletter was very good, sometimes it was very bad. But regardless, every week I sent it out.

For every email I’ve sent, I’ve gotten at least 10 responses from this community. I love it. Sometimes these emails were kind and congratulatory. Sometimes they contained constructive feedback. Sometimes they were scathingly rude. Sometimes they were miraculously generous.
But the feedback I heard most often was that you, my friends, wanted more. I love that about you.
You wanted more community opportunities, more deep dives, more events, more content, more soul. You wanted a greater span of topics that we covered here. You wanted more.
I sat on this for a long time. Because that’s what I wanted, too. Not just from the wellness world, which often felt exclusionary and air-headed and focused on all the wrong things, but from myself.
So, the Holisticism team built The North Node — our inclusive membership community for modern multi-hyphenates who’re eager to step into leading with intuition.

Let's face it — if you're not actively dismantling white supremacy and the systems of oppression that marginalize, traumatize, and have an other-ing effect on human beings, you're part of the problem. Conscious activism and social justice aren't easy topics to broach which is why many in the wellness space just avoid it altogether.
But we don't have a choice to not talk about it. To not think about it. To not do something about it. So let's.
We can make it easier to walk this path by surrounding ourselves with others who get it. And once you have a community to exchange ideas with, learn from, and make mistakes within, you can start taking real steps toward making change in this world.

Personal sovereignty means that we can choose for ourselves. That at the end of the day, you can look at everything you've learned or experienced with enough neutrality to make the decision that's best for YOU. You don't blindly follow what some guru says. You aren't convinced by to an influencer assuring you that you "must" buy something you don't need. You don't accidentally join a cult because red is your color and you love free beer.
You trust yourself to make the best choices for YOU because you know how to weigh all your options.
