“The way that you learn is not just by reading, and it’s not just by empirical study. You actually have to metabolize, fully ingest the text and allow it to get into your bloodstream and all the fibers of your being. So, I think that’s partly why autodidactism or self-guided learning works best for me.”
“I started to think about the places where I did well, and the places where I didn’t do well, and just started to lean more into cultivating environments like the ones where I was doing well, and then, I kept growing up and kept getting better at that, kept practicing at that. And now most of my work in terms of learning and creating is really about context setting.”
“My throat chakra is the area where I get the most tightness and where I hold a lot of anxiety. So it actually strengthened my greatest strength and my place of greatest vulnerability.”
“We are asking for transparency from our leadership, but we don’t know how to be honest in our relationships.”
“We can build pretty much any invention we can imagine. But are we imagining the right inventions to build?”
“We’re missing a lot of tools. But where we do have tools, we’re often missing practices. And then where we do have practices, we’re often missing care.”
“For me, the most valuable skill is systematizing. And even in the startup world, I think the word scaling is really just a euphemism for systematizing.”
“Problems at a certain scale don’t have solutions. All they have is processes.”
